Tape Exchange December 2021

It was a nice idea right? A pleasant thought, at least. Well, here we are, back to being behind the times. Not that this is really any different for us. It’s a new year now and it does seem musically promising. Lets kill off 2021 with some gusto!

Raddest Tape:

December’s raddest tape kicks off with a bang courtesy of some killer funk numbers with great classic feel before veering off into an expansive territory territory. Like many of the mixes that come from this exchanger, once you’ve got it figured out, the tape has you fooled! The songs work together wonderfully, guiding the listener down a natural progression; defiant of genre, limitations, or expectations!

CTEP’s Contribution:

We’re mighty proud of this one! A mix of new songs (at least they were in December) and old favorites! Some Southern feel on this one as well as touches of soul, indie, etc. Even if you’re not particularly physical with your media, we advise you to check this mix out on Spotify!
