Tape Exchange Mar. 2021

Brave listeners, mixers, and exchangers! Happy Holidaze! (Har har har) Today is 4/20 (Blaze it!) and this means that the submission period for April’s tape exchange is officially closed. Any entries that arrive from now until May 20th will be included in May’s mixtape exchange!

Normally, we try to have these out in a more timely manner, but March was a pretty quiet month on the CTEP front as we didn’t see any tapes come in during that time frame. However, we did see a nice cluster of submissions that arrived in time for April’s exchange, so you can expect to see those featured in the coming weeks.

In other more general news: we have been steadily active on Instagram. This is in part due to the fact that we have been making some sweet buys and are expanding our collection (aren’t we always?). We appreciate all of the cassette-heads that have been showing love and interest in the exchange. We have a true community of tape lovers out there! Even if you’re the only one in your town or that you know personally, don’t worry, we out here.

Now on with the bore-ophyll!

CTEP’s Contribution:

March was no exception from our usual trend of pairing songs at random albiet with a focus somewhere between in the rock/indie/folk range. Sorry about that by the way! We do like metal, rap, and more; we swear! Anyways, March was a great balance of new songs (to us) and familiar favorites – we hope that you can all find something to chew on here!
